- State consumer protection laws across all 50 states, which allow retailers to refuse returns on hygiene and intimate products
No U.S. federal law requires retailers to accept returns on intimate hygiene products. While some states (like California) require sellers to accept returns on defective merchandise, all states permit retailers to exclude intimate and hygiene products from their return policies.
What IS Returnable (Unopened Items)
Conditions for Unopened Returns
- Item must be in original, sealed manufacturer packaging
- All tamper-evident seals, shrink wrap, and security stickers must be intact
- Product must not show any signs of use, testing, or damage
- Must include all original accessories, manuals, and packaging materials
- Return must be initiated within 30 days of delivery date
- Customer pays return shipping ($7.99 flat rate via provided label)

What Qualifies as Defective
- Product does not power on or charge
- Motor/vibration malfunction
- Visible manufacturing defects (cracks, misalignment, material flaws)
- Product received damaged in transit (crushed packaging, broken seals by carrier)
- Wrong product received
- Missing components or accessories
Defective Product Process
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery (or within manufacturer warranty period)
- Provide photos/video of the defect
- We'll issue an RMA number and prepaid return label within 24 hours
- Ship the item back (we pay return shipping)
- Replacement ships same day we receive the return, or refund issued within 3-5 business days

Many products carry manufacturer warranties that extend beyond our 30-day return window. We facilitate warranty claims on your behalf.

Exchanges
Size/Color Exchanges (Apparel & Merch Only)
- FANZ branded apparel and merch can be exchanged for different size/color within 30 days
- Item must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached
- Free exchange shipping both ways
Lingerie & Underwear
- Unopened/unworn only: exchange for different size within 30 days
- Hygiene liner must be intact
- No refunds — exchange only
Refund Details
- Refunds issued to original payment method within 3-5 business days of receiving the return
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless our error or defective)
- Bank/credit card processing may take an additional 5-10 business days
- Partial refunds may be issued for items not in original condition (at our discretion)
Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placement for a full refund
- After 1 hour, orders enter processing and cannot be cancelled
- If your order has already shipped, you must wait to receive it and follow the return process
Chargebacks & Disputes
We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or payment processor. We resolve all legitimate concerns within 24 hours. Fraudulent chargebacks will be disputed with full documentation.
International Returns
- International customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- Customs duties/taxes on returns are not refundable by FANZ
- We recommend using tracked shipping for all international returns
- Refund processing for international orders: 7-14 business days
How to Request a Return or Report a Defect
- Email support@fanzunlimited.com with:
- Order number
- Item(s) and reason for return
- Photos of the product and packaging (required for defect claims)
- We respond within 24 hours with your RMA number and instructions
- Ship the item back using the provided label or your own carrier
- Refund/replacement processed within 3-5 business days of receipt
